has three principle business activities:
- Tracked vehicle
Overhaul/Conversion: This activity includes the upgrade and modernization of
combat tracked vehicles of US origin.
- Logistical Support:
Under this activity, MLS supplies spare parts and modernization kits to the US Army, and
to foreign users of equipment of US origin.
- Flexible Manufacturing and
Assembly: This includes the design and manufacturing of a variety of
components used on combat vehicles. The company supports extensive research and
development programs that have resulted in new product improvements for a variety of
items, including generators, engine cooling systems, and environmental control systems.
MLS' technical
capabilities include the design, test and manufacture of critical
electrical and hydraulic components and assemblies used in combat
systems. MLS' diverse technical expertise, low overhead, and its
demonstrated ability to manufacture critical components gives the
company a distinct competitive advantage.
